Starting in 2006, Austin Chapter 10 has provided scholarships to attend
summer camps at
Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center near Lanesboro, MN. This is a great opportunity for area students
in grades 4-9 to experience the wonder of the natural environment.
In 2010, Austin Chapter 10 will provide scholarships
for
summer residential camps at Eagle Bluff. Each scholarship winner will have to pay a $50 non-refundable deposit. Scholarships
range from $215 to $250 based on the cost of summer camp chosen.
Students interested in applying for a scholarship can download
an Austin Chapter 10 application form
here. Winners of scholarships will also need to complete a Eagle Bluff
registration form.
All applications must be received by April 30, 2010. Please follow the instructions on the application
form.
Austin Chapter 10 would like all scholarship awardees, who attend a summer camp, to give our members a brief review
of their experience.
We would like you to attend our September 13, 2010 chapter meeting and let us know what you liked about the
camp, if you would go again, and if you feel your friends or classmates would attend a camp at Eagle Bluff.
